Wow, I was not aware it is not recommended to take N O XPlode before aerobics! I was using that (my husband recommended it) but I never got any results. What do you recommend to get a pump while running? Thanks

@John

There's a reason why the tub comes with directions, perhaps you should FOLLOW them? It clearly states to start with ONE scoop, and then adjust from there.

I don't understand why it's always so difficult for people to read what's on the actual product they buy. Why do so many people ask "how to take" 'x' product? Just read what is there.

@Cal

Again, just read what the product says. Obviously you'll want to take NO-Xplode pre-workout and CellMass post-workout. It's just THAT simple.

No...you should not take NO Xplode before a cardio workout. Here is why...NO Xplode was engineered for the purpose of increasing muscular vascularity while you work out anaerobically. In a nutshell, this means that it opens up the blood vessels to increase blood flow to the muscles being worked while lifting weights. The more blood that stays in the muscle being worked, the more endurance that muscle will have. NO Xplode was engineered to create a maximum workout experience when hitting the weights.

That being said, by increasing your muscular vascularity, the blood tends to stay in the muscle. This is good for weight workouts but terrible for aerobic workouts. Aerobic workouts cause your heart rate to increase. Your heart rate increases because your body needs more oxygen to function at a higher stress level. Your heart beats faster to carry more oxygen to the rest of your body. If NO Xplode is in the system, the blood will want to stay in the muscles rather than improve overall circulation. When on NO Xplode, the heart speeds up but pumps less blood. The result can be hypotension or low blood pressure. This can result in blurred vision, fatigue, dizziness, confusion, and loss of consciousness (fainting).

Cellmass is a good creatine. It aids in the recovery period following workouts. Just make sure you make a habit of drinking at least the suggested amount of water while taking that supplement. Not consuming enough water can damage the organs...namely the liver and kidneys.

Remember, the supplements you listed are workout/lifting supplements. Cardiovascular workouts can be enhanced simply by eating correctly. Good complex carbohydrates are a good bet. Eat them the night before your good runs. Iron rich diets are important. They assist the red blood cells in carrying more oxygen and can help prevent anemia. Remember to eat proteins after a workout...not before. Proteins are harder for the body to process and require too much work to do so in addition to a good stiff cardio workout.

I been taking NO Xplode for a couple years now along with Syntha-6 proteins. It works wonderful and I have no usual side effects like bloating, excess water, energy shaking feelings, etc.
